Question 1

Do you carry golf clubs and luggage?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our 8-seater Mercedes-class minibuses and MPVs are booked with luggage capacity in mind. For a full fourball with tour bags and travel cases we normally recommend an 8-seater carrying 4–6 golfers so bags travel inside, or a trailer/second vehicle for larger groups. Tell us the number of golfers and bags when you enquire and we will size the vehicle correctly.

Question 2

Can you arrange golf transport in the Republic of Ireland?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We work with our Republic of Ireland partner Paul McGinley, a well-known name in the golf transfers industry, who operates a large Mercedes Sprinter 8-seater. We can book his vehicle for Dublin, the K Club, Portmarnock, Ballybunion, Lahinch, Waterville, Old Head of Kinsale and cross-border trips into Northern Ireland, and coordinate the whole itinerary alongside your Scottish golf days.

Do you handle tee-time bookings?

We are a transport specialist, not a tee-time broker, but we work alongside your club, hotel or golf tour operator and build the driving schedule around the tee times you have secured. If you are still planning, we will advise on realistic travel times between courses.

Question 4

Can you collect us from the airport with our clubs?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Glasgow, Edinburgh, Prestwick, Aberdeen, Dublin and Belfast airport meet-and-greet collections are all available, with a driver waiting in arrivals and space allocated for golf travel bags.

Question 5

Will the same driver stay with us for a multi-day golf tour?

Accepted Answer

Where possible, yes. For multi-day Scottish itineraries we keep the same driver and vehicle with the group so they learn the routine, the tee times and the luggage arrangement. For Irish legs, the vehicle and driver are provided by our partner operator.

Question 6

How many golfers fit in the 8-seater?

Accepted Answer

The 8-seater carries up to 8 passengers, but with full golf bags we usually recommend 4–6 golfers per vehicle so clubs travel securely inside. Larger societies are covered with two or more vehicles running in convoy.

Question 7

Can you do a mixed Scotland and Ireland golf itinerary?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A common trip is a Scottish links week (St Andrews, Ayrshire, Gleneagles), a flight or ferry crossing, and then a Republic of Ireland leg covered by our partner's Mercedes Sprinter. We coordinate the handover so you never have to arrange local transport yourself.

Question 8

How far in advance should we book a golf tour?

Accepted Answer

For peak season (May to September), Open Championship weeks and Ryder Cup style events, book as far ahead as possible — 3 to 6 months is typical. Off-peak days can often be arranged within a week.

Question 9

Can you take us to and from the clubhouse for dinner or drinks?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Evening runs between hotel, clubhouse and restaurant are included in day-hire and multi-day itineraries, so nobody in the group has to drive.
